This size open ball can be used to go over a ball on the #10 and #13 size ball chain. Used to permanently attach lengths of chain and as termination devices for fixture suspensions, pull chains, and as a stop ball for electrical switches. Also used in the jewelry trade, as well as for trimming in various other fields. Combination pliers are used to close the ball shut.
